Textile waste is becoming an increasingly large environmental problem. We need knowledge to be able to make good sustainable choices, to assess quality, and to ask critical questions about the production of the goods we want. After several thousand years, where knowledge of materials and techniques has been passed on from generation to generation, we no longer learn this at home, or at school.
But can we allow ourselves to lose this knowledge?
