Spírala by Sigrún Hlín Sigurðardóttir
The exhibition consist of new works, born from drawings scribbled quickly in the sketchbook as a daily practice. They were chosen intuitively and rendered painstakingly in a large scale but slow format, using wool and hand knitted intarsia. Loose ends are left purposefully as a reminder of the process, helping the works spring into being as physical objects.
