Kulturverntenesta i Nordhordland
The Cultural Heritage Service in Nordhordland was established in 2006, when the municipalities of Austrheim, Fedje, Lindås, Masfjorden, Meland, Modalen and Radøy in collaboration with the Museum Centre in Hordaland (MUHO) and Hordaland County established a shared museum service. At the same time, Hordaland County established a regional building restoration consultant at MUHO. Kulturverntenesta also offers, in collaboration with KulturIT, an agreement concerning access to the Primus database, and guidance on collections documentation.
Services
Today, our services are available to individuals and municipal administration in Alver, Austrheim, Fedje, Masfjorden and Modalen:
- building conservation and restoration
- documentation, management or communication of cultural history, heritage, and collections
- assistance with project applications within these fields
